Blog number one...here we go. Thanks to my friend Carl's new blogging journey, I've decided to give it a whirl myself. Like him, I know it will help me with my thoughts and my faith each day as I battle. Hopefully I can be consistent and true to it, given my intentions.
The title "Resurgent Living" has to do with the past and present. Its past-tense reference speaks of Christ's resurrection. The recognition and acceptance of His resurgence is what makes me who I am today. The present-tense reference speaks of my hopes, successes, and failures of this resurgent life. Christ's death freed me, and His resurrection gave me freedom. I am trying hard to rise again to new life and vigor with each passing day, fighting my Adamic will that I may submit my mind and life to God the Father through Jesus...to live a 'resurgent life'.
I long to long after God and to be used by Him. I pray that God will keep my heart His home and keep it true to Him and His Word. God has blessed, and continues to bless my life, in many ways - all to which I give Him thanks and glory...ALL glory is His.
